Mausumi y Kavya, su hija de 15 años, siempre han sido buenas amigas. Pero, ahora que Kavya comienza una nueva y emocionante vida en la universidad, su relación cambia. ¿Será Mausumi capaz de aceptar la nueva independencia de su hija y finalmente realizarse por sí mismo?

SANDEEP MODI (INDIA, 1982). Alumno del prestigioso Instituto del Cine y la Televisión de India, siempre escribe desde sus experiencias en el bullicio de Mumbai y su extraña cohesión, dentro de la división económica de la ciudad. Su trabajo refleja su convicción de que el cine es un elemento de cambio social y da voces a gente corriente y sus dilemas, reflejando el mundo y sus complejidades.
SANDEEP MODI (INDIA, 1982) is a filmmaker from Mumbai who came to fore with his Marathi Short Film 'Bilori' that has won the 'Golden Pearl' at the 2nd Hyderabad International Film Festival and 'Gold - Best Student Short Fiction' at the IDPA Awards, 2007. An alumnus of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Sandeep writes from his growing experiences in the ever churning belly of Mumbai and its strange cohesion within the economic divide. In his early thirties, Sandeep’s work reflects his belief in the idea of cinema as an agent for social change. Giving voice to stories of everyday people and their dilemma's, Sandeep’s films are a mirror to the world, often lost in the cacophony of its own complexities.
