Sinopsis / Synopsis

Tano, un anciano con alzhéimer, comienza a ver bichos que brillan en la pared y que aparentemente no están ahí. Esto provocará un enfrentamiento con su hijo, Sebastián, que se negará a aceptar que su padre ya no está bien. Junto al peque de la familia tendrá que hacer un ejercicio de empatía para aceptar la marcha de un ser un querido, algo nada fácil para ellos.

Tano, an old man with Alzheimer’s disease, begins to see bugs glowing on the wall that apparently are not there. this causes a confrontation with his son, Sebastián, who refuses to accept that his father is no longer well. Together with the youngest member of the family, they will have to make an exercise in empathy in order to accept the departure of a loved one, something that is not easy for them.

Ares Sirvent (Valencia, ESPAÑA, 1998) estudió cine y medios de producción en la London Metropolitan University, donde realizó su primer mediometraje "Frank". Posteriormente, completó un máster en guión en la escuela de cine y audiovisual de Cataluña (escac) y un curso de estructura argumental con el premio Goya Tomás Aragay. También estudió un máster de dirección de cine y series de televisión en la universidad de arte Tai", donde rodó su ópera prima "Bichos".

Ares Sirvent (Valencia, SPAIN, 1998) studied film and media production at London Metropolitan University, where he made his first medium-length film, "Frank". Subsequently, he completed a master's degree in screenwriting at the School of cinema & audiovisual in Cataluña (escac, Spain) and a course in plot structure with Goya award-winner Tomás Aragay. He also studied for a master's degree in film and tv series directing at the University of Art "Tai," where he shot his debut film "Bichos."
