¿Qué buscás? ¿Me tenés ganas? Vamos a divertirnos...Siete trabajadores sexuales rumanos en Berlín son retratados mientras escuchan y reaccionan a grabaciones de sus propias experiencias. La cámara se vuelve cliente y el intercambio sexual se convierte en un espectáculo que resalta la performatividad inevitable de los vínculos de poder.

What are you up to tonight? Do you want me? We could have fun together... Seven Romanian male-to-male sex workers in Berlin have their portraits taken as they listen and react to recordings of their own experiences. By turning the process of exploitation into a spectacle, the camera becomes a client highlighting the inevitable performativity of such power relations.

 MANUEL ABRAMOVICH (Buenos Aires, 1987) es director y director de fotografía.Su trabajo explora la performatividad en lo cotidiano. En sus películas, las personas se transforman en personajes.Se graduó como Director de Fotografía en la ENERC y completó su formación en el Berlinale Talents y en IDFA Summer School. Sus trabajos fueron proyectados en festivales y eventos artísticos como Berlinale, Venecia, Tribeca, MoMA Doc Fortnight, Viennale, IDFA, San Sebastián, Film Society Lincoln Center, Cinéma du Réel, BAFICI.Su primer cortometraje 'La Reina' ganó más de 50 premios internacionales. Su último trabajo 'Blue Boy' ganó el Oso de Plata en la Competencia Internacional de Cortos de Berlinale 2019. Manuel fue invitado como mentor y dio conferencias sobre su trabajo en festivales e instituciones como Princeton University (USA), Werkleitz Center (Alemania), Berlinale Talents, Union Docs (USA), Tres Puertos (México). IDFA y Maestría de Cine Alternativo EICTV Cuba.Actualmente, se encuentra editando su cuarto largometraje 'Pornomelancolía', mientras trabaja en el desarrollo de dos nuevos proyectos: “Amor Vaquero” y “El Dolor”.

Manuel Abramovich (b. Buenos Aires, 1987) is a filmmaker and director of photography.His work explores the performativity of the everyday. In his films, ordinary people become characters.He graduated as a Director of Photography at ENERC and is a Berlinale Talents and IDFA Summer School alumni.
His films have been shown at festivals such as Berlinale, Venice, Tribeca, MoMA Doc Fortnight, Viennale, IDFA, San Sebastián, Film Society of Lincoln Center, Cinéma du Réel, BAFICI and received numerous awards.
His first short film 'The Queen' won over 50 international awards, while 'Blue Boy', his latest work, won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale Shorts Competition 2019.In the last years, he has been invited as a lecturer and mentor in institutions such as Princeton University, Werkleitz Center, Berlinale Talents, UnionDocs, Tres Puertos Cine, IDFA, Maestría de Cine Alternativo EICTV Cuba.Manuel is currently editing his fourth feature film 'Pornomelancholia', while working on the development of two new projects: 'Cowboy Love' and 'The Pain'.
