¿Qué quemamos cuando nuestro mundo ya está en llamas? Una mujer que huye de una relación terrible se encuentra cara a cara con un pollo. Comparten un momento, un cigarrillo y el deseo de quemar todo lo que les rodea para aliviar sus respectivas heridas. Un vuelo de fantasía pintado sobre la euforia que produce salir de un ciclo de dolor.

What do we burn when our world is already on fire? A woman running from a terrible relationship finds herself eye to eye with a chicken. They share a moment, a cigarette and a desire to burn down everything around them to soothe their respective wounds. A painted flight of fancy about the elation that comes with breaking out of a cycle of pain.

ANNA BENNER (Bergisch Gladbach, Alemania, 02/10/1983) Es una artista y cineasta afincada en Berlín. En su obra aborda temas feministas y la psicología de lo cotidiano, a menudo utilizando animación rotoscópica dibujada a mano. Sus obras se han expuesto en toda Europa; sus cortometrajes de animación se han proyectado en todo el mundo y han ganado premios en festivales de cine como Annecy, Encounters y Stuttgart Trickfilmfestival.

ANNA BENNER (Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, 02/10/1983) She is a Berlin based artist and filmmaker. In her work, she deals with feminist topics and the psychology of the everyday, often using hand-drawn rotoscope animation. Her artworks have been exhibited across Europe; her animated short films have screened worldwide and won prizes at film festivals like Annecy, Encounters and Stuttgart Trickfilmfestival.
