DAVID BERTRAN (Sabadell, ESPAÑA, 19/03/75) De pasado farmaceutico, David Bertran estudia un Master en Fine Arts en Los Angeles en 2012, momento en que su pasión oculta por el Septimo Arte emerge con fuerza. Blue Sorrow, su primer corto, fue seleccionado en el Festival de Cine de Cannes, en su departamento del Short Film Corner, y una colaboración en producción / edición con Yolanda Centeno en Zugzwang, le valio docenas de selecciones y dos premios de edición. Coming to Terms es su último corto y el más personal hasta la fecha. Nace de la temprana muerte de su padre y de su propia perspectiva sobre la religión. El género preferido de David es el drama y, a pesar de haber estudiado en Estados Unidos, sus historias estan próximas a su sensibilidad europea. David tiene una licenciatura en Farmacia, un MBA con especialización en Marketing y Creación de Empresas, un MFA; y domina tres lenguas.

DAVID BERTRAN (Sabadell, SPAIN, 03/19/75) With a Pharmaceutical background, David Bertran studied a Masters of Fine Arts in Los Angeles in 2012, right when his hidden passion for filmmaking flourishes. Blue Sorrow, his first short film, was selected at the Cannes Film Festival, in their Film Corner capacity, and a producing / editing collaboration, with Yolanda Centeno, on Zugzwang, garnered dozens of selections and two editing awards. Coming to Terms is his latest and more personal short film, one that stems from the early death of his father and his own religious beliefs. David’s favorite genre is drama and his stories are often close to his European sensibilities. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, an MBA majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and MFA; and fluently speaks three languages.
