Sinopsis / Synopsis

El Sol dejó de verse, reina la oscuridad y la sociedad está en la confusión más absoluta. Aurelio, psicólogo de profesión y padre soltero, trata de no volverse loco y todo parece un reflejo de lo que le pasa. Su fuerza tiene un límite y está próximo a él.

The Sun can´t be seen. The society is in chaos, and the people lost all kind of human kindness. Aurelio, single father, is trying not to get crazy and everything seems like a reflect of his own life. His strength has a limit and he is close to it.

WATASKA [JOSE ANTONIO MUÑOZ SANTILLANA (Lima, PERÚ, 1980) & JORGE PABLO QUIROZ SALEM (Lima, PERÚ, 1980)] es una dupla que escribe la Trilogía "Los 3 Eslabones de la Involución", compuesta por dos cortometrajes y un largometraje. Estas tres historias exploran distintos aspectos de la conducta humana y se cuestiona si estamos evolucionando o involucionando como especie. "La Presencia de la Ausencia" es el primer cortometraje. El segundo episodio, "Como un Reflejo", ha sido premiado en el Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes (2017) por el Ministerio de Cultura del Perú. El largometraje se encuentra en proceso de escritura. Han dirigido diversas campañas publicitarias y ganado premios en los festivales más importantes de publicidad del mundo.

WATASKA [JOSE ANTONIO MUÑOZ SANTILLANA (Lima, PERU, 1980) & JORGE PABLO QUIROZ SALEM (Lima, PERU, 1980)] started creating a trilogy based in different aspects of human conduct called ¨The Three links of Devolution¨. two short films and a feature length. "La Presencia de la Ausencia", the first episode of the trilogy, was official selection at the 32nd Chicago Latino film festival and winner as best short film at the Huánuco Short Film Festival in Peru. "Mirror Like" is their second short film and winner at the National Shortfilm Contest (2017) organized by the Ministry of Culture in Perú. "Implosion", the third episode and feature length, is in working progress.
