La odisea personal registrada en Curinrawa sigue los pasos de la investigación anteriormente realizada en 1941 por el etnobiólogo Richard Evans Schultes y se combiana al mismo tiempo, con la inquietud espiritual del artista, plasmada en su diario personal. Fue rodado mientras Ortuño convivió con una Comunidad Shipiba del río Alto Ucayali Peruano en el 2009.
The personal odissey registered in Curinrawa follows the steps of the previously done investigation in 1941 by the ethnobiologist Richard Evans Schultes and combines itself with the personal spiritual restlessness of the artist, shown in his personal diary. Shot while Ortuño lived with a Shipiba community in the High Uyacali River in 2009.
