Francisco Leiro es el último superviviente de una etapa heroica de la escultura que ya no existe. No hacemos una biografía ni una presentación de su trayectoria. Simplemente mostramos las condiciones objetivas, físicas y mentales, del proceso creativo de este escultor en la actualidad, entre su Galicia natal, en Cambados, y sus lugares de trabajo en Madrid y Nueva York, usando como banda sonora los sonidos de sus herramientas, descubriendo el alma de un gigante.

Francisco Leiro is the last survivor of a heroic time in sculpture that is almost completely gone. Leiro has great international projection after he signed with the prestigious Marlborough. We do not narrate his biography, nor do we outline his extensive career. We merely show the objective, physical and mental conditions of the sculptor’s creative process, between his native Galicia, in Cambados, and his workplaces in Madrid and New York, to discover the soul of the giant.

ASER ÁLVAREZ GONZÁLEZ (Ourense, España, 20/06/1976) Licenciado en Políticas y Periodismo, Máster del diario EL PAÍS y Especialista en Comunicación Audiovisual, fue fundador del Festival de Cine Carlos Velo. Es un prestigioso cineasta que ha trabajado en prensa, radio y televisión y es fundador de Arraianos Producións, curador de exposiciones, autor de libros, guías de viajes y proyectos. multimedia. El documental "100% CEF", protagonizado por Luís Tosar, es su ópera prima, con el que gana numerosos premios nacionales e internacionales. Desde entonces ha producido y dirigido programas de televisión, publicidad y largos y cortos documentales, muchos centrados en los procesos creativos de artistas importantes y en recuperar la memoria y las historias de grandes personajes olvidados.
