Sinopsis / Synopsis

Seguimos las huellas del recorrido que realizó con su moto el periodista y escritor, Ramón Chao, para la elaboración de su novela “Prisciliano de Compostela”. Esta road movie, con banda sonora original de su hijo, Manu Chao, líder de la mítica banda Mano Negra, se presenta como una peregrinación y un viaje iniciático siguiendo el Camino de Prisciliano, el verdadero origen del Camino de Santiago.

We follow the traces of the route that the famous journalist and writer Ramón Chao made with his motorcycle for the elaboration of his novel “Prisciliano de Compostela”. This road movie, with original soundtrack by his son, Manu Chao, Mano Negra founder, is presented as an original pilgrimage route following the Camino de Prisciliano, the true origin of the Camino de Santiago.

ASER ÁLVAREZ GONZÁLEZ (Ourense, España, 20/06/1976) Licenciado en Políticas y Periodismo, Máster y Especialista en Comunicación Audiovisual, dirige el Festival Internacional de Cine Carlos Velo. Ha trabajado en prensa, radio y televisión, es socio de Arraianos Producións y autor de libros, guías de viajes y trabajos multimedia. El documental 100% CEF es su ópera prima, con el que gana el Premio Mestre Mateo al Mejor Documental, el Premio Especial en el Festival de Cine de Bucarest y otros premios, circulando por festivales de Europa y América. Desde entonces ha producido numerosos documentales sobre arte y cultura, recuperando historias auténticas de personajes famosos y anónimos.

ASER ÁLVAREZ GONZÁLEZ (Ourense, Spain, 06/20/1976) Degree in Politics and Journalism, Masters and Specialist in Audiovisual Communication, directs the Carlos Velo International Film Festival. He has worked in newspapers, radio and television, is a partner of Arraianos Producións and author of books, guides and multimedia works. The documentary 100% CEF is his debut feature, which won the Mestre Mateo Award for Best Documentary, the Special Prize at the Bucharest Film Festival and other awards, circulating around festivals in Europe and America. Since then he has produced numerous documentaries about arts and culture and recovering authentic stories of famous and anonymous characters.
