The best man attempts to keep face and deliver his speech at his brother’s wedding, following an advance in the hotel bathroom by the father of the bride.

 RHYS MARC JONES (Gales, REINO UNIDO) El interés de Jones en el cine se despertó a una edad temprana cuando su madre grababa películas nocturnas y las retenía como incentivo conductual. Después de un período como animador de stop-motion, fue aceptado en el Programa de Graduados de Cine en la Escuela de Artes Tisch de la NYU, donde recibió el Premio BBC America para la Diversidad, seguido de las Becas BAFTA LA consecutivas en 2017 y 2018. En NYU Rhys estudió con los aclamados cineastas Spike Lee (Do the RIght Thing '89, Malcolm x '92), Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse '96, Happiness '98) y Frederick Elmes ASC (Eraserhead '77, Blue Velvet '87), entre otros cineastas independientes. Sus cortos estudiantiles anteriores BURN BRIDGE (2017), BOUNDARIES (2018) y PALE SAINT (2019) han ganado premios y han jugado festivales en todo el mundo y recientemente fue seleccionado para la prestigiosa Mentoría BAFTA / BFI NETWORK @ FLARE LGBTQ + 2019 para cineastas que hacen cine que desafían representación y conciencia queer.

RHYS MARC JONES (Wales, UNITED KINGDOM) Jones' interest in film was sparked at an early age when his mother would record late night movies and withhold them as behavioural incentive. After a stint as a stop-motion animator he was accepted into the Graduate Film Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he received the BBC America Award for Diversity followed by back-to-back BAFTA LA Scholarships in 2017 and 2018. At NYU Rhys studied under acclaimed filmmakers Spike Lee (Do the RIght Thing ‘89, Malcolm x ‘92), Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse ‘96, Happiness ‘98) and Frederick Elmes ASC (Eraserhead ‘77, Blue Velvet ‘87), amongst other leading indie filmmakers.His previous student shorts BURN BRIDGE (2017), BOUNDARIES (2018) and PALE SAINT (2019) have won awards and played festivals worldwide and he was recently selected for the prestigious BAFTA / BFI NETWORK Mentorship @ FLARE LGBTQ+ 2019 for filmmakers making cinema that challenges queer representation and awareness.
