Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un viaje al mar a través de los exvotos del Sur de Francia. Una inmersión en la vida de los marineros del siglo XIX y sus peligros. La evolución de sus creencias hacia una sociedad donde la religión es borrada por el pragmatismo y donde los milagros son provocados por una preparación rigurosa.

A journey to the sea through the ex-votos of the South of France. A dive into the life of 19th century sailors and its dangers. The evolution of their beliefs towards a society where religion is erased by pragmatism and where miracles are caused by rigorous preparation.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

ELISA MEZQUITA & ARMELLE FOUAT. Ambas de Bruselas, nos conocimos en INSAS en 2018 y rápidamente nos hicimos amigas. Curiosas y con ganas de descubrir, a las dos nos encanta viajar. Vimos en Regards Croisés una oportunidad para filmar un tema vinculado a un nuevo entorno y dejarnos llevar por él. Procedente de la sección de imágenes del INSAS, "Fortunas del mar" es la primera película que hemos realizado.

ELISA MEZQUITA & ARMELLE FOUAT. Both from Brussels, we met at INSAS in 2018 and quickly became friends. Curious and eager to discover, we both love to travel. We saw in Regards Croisés an opportunity to film a theme linked to a new environment and to let ourselves be carried away by it. Coming from the INSAS image section, "Fortunes of the Sea" is the first film we've made.
