"Frenzy" es un cortometraje experimental que habla sobre dos enfoques diferentes de lo que realmente significa el amor. Cuando amas a alguien lo suficiente, ¿puedes dejar que esta persona se vaya? O cuando amas a alguien, ¿te mantienes unido hasta el final?

"Frenzy" is an experimental short film that talks about two different approaches to what love really means. When you love someone enough, are you able to let this person walk away? Or when you love someone, do you stick together until the end?

KATHERINE JACOME (Guayaquil, ECUADOR, 1998) es una cineasta residente en St. Charles, Missouri, EE. UU. Se dedica a la difusión de la comunicación y las artes del cine en Lindenwood University. Se gradua a finales de 2020. Siente un amor genuino por viajar y conocer nuevas culturas. Ha trabajado principalmente desarrollando videos publicitarios y musicales. Su primer cortometraje "Frenzy" ya ha sido seleccionado como MENCIÓN ESPECIAL DEL JURADO en SHORT OF THE YEAR.

AKRAM NEMER (Al-Bireh, PALESTINA, 1998) es un cineasta residente en Ramallah, Palestina. Persigue los medios y el cine en la Universidad Al-Quds. Se graduará a finales de 2020. Ha trabajado para diferentes productoras en Ramallah, así como para un festival de cine de esta ciudad. Su cortometraje "The Window" se proyectó en el festival canadiense. Asimismo, su cortometraje "Frenzy" ya ha sido seleccionado como MENCIÓN ESPECIAL DEL JURADO en SHORT OF THE YEAR.

KATHERINE JACOME (Guayaquil, ECUADOR, 1998) is a filmmaker based in St. Charles, Missouri, USA. She pursues Broadcast Communication and Cinema Arts at Lindenwood University. She will be graduating in late 2020. She has a genuine love for traveling and meeting new cultures. Therefore, she was part of the International class at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany for one semester. She has worked mostly developing advertising and music videos. However, her first short film “Frenzy” has been already selected as SPECIAL JURY MENTION at SHORT OF THE YEAR.

AKRAM NEMER (Al-Bireh, PALESTINE, 1998) is a filmmaker based in Ramallah, Palestine. He pursues Media and Cinema at ‎Al-Quds University. He will be graduating in late 2020. He has worked for different production companies in Ramallah as well as for a film festival from this city. His short film “The Window” was screened at the Canadian festival. Likewise, his short film “Frenzy” has been already selected as SPECIAL JURY MENTION at SHORT OF THE YEAR.
