Sinopsis / Synopsis

Al igual que los cines de la ciudad van cerrando sus puertas, la relación entre Leandro y su hijo Martín se va apagando. Leandro intentará redimir sus errores del pasado a tiempo y sacar a Martín toda la rabia interior que le ha llevado a una vida gris y conseguir que recupere la imaginación, vuelva a soñar y encuentre la luz.

As the cinemas of the city are closing their doors, the relationship between Leandro and his son Martin is extinguishing. Leandro will try to redeem his past errors on time and bring out all the inner rage that has driven Martin to a grey life, in order to make him recover his imagination, dream again and find a light.

CHRISTOPHER DOWNS (Madrid, 02/05/1977) se dio a conocer en los festivales de cine con su segundo corto “The End of The World" gracias al cual fue seleccionado en más de 60 ocasiones y obtuvo diez premios nacionales e internacionales. Ha trabajado como ayudante de dirección con directores de la talla de Guillermo del Toro, Ridley Scott, Jaume Collet-Serra, Jim Jarmusch, Los Hermanos Wachowski o Steven Soderbergh. Graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual por Emerson College (Boston), también ha recibido formación actoral de la mano de David Mamet y en el Estudio Corazza de Madrid. Actualmente, imparte talleres de cine y dirección de actores en la ECAM, trabajo que compagina dirigiendo publicidad y preparando su primer largometraje.

CHRISTOPHER DOWNS (Madrid, SPAIN 05/02/1977) gathered attention in film festivals with his second short film “The End of The World” that participated in more than 60 festivals and obtained 10 national and international awards. Christopher has worked as an assistant director with prestigious directors like Guillermo del Toro, Ridley Scott, Jim Jarmusch, the Wachowski’s and Steven Soderbergh. A film graduate from Emerson College (Boston) he has also received acting training from David Mamet and from the Juan Carlos Corazza Studio in Madrid. He currently teaches directing actors and film workshops at the ECAM, Madrid’s film School, work that he combines with advertising and preparing his debut feature film.
