Sinopsis / Synopsis

Antonio, hombre rural, trata de transmitir a su hijo adolescente una enseñanza que, a su vez, le enseñó su padre a él cuando tenía la edad que ahora tiene su hijo. Pero entre la vida de Antonio y la de su hijo existe un abismo.

Antonio, a rural man, tries to transmit to his adolescent son a teaching that, in turn, his father taught him when he was the age that his son is now. But between the life of Antonio and his son there is a gulf.

MANU BÁÑEZ (Huelva, ESPAÑA, 1977). En el año 2000 se traslada a Madrid, donde reside actualmente, para estudiar interpretación en la escuela Cuarta Pared, cine en la Escuela Metrópolis, y edición de vídeo en Avid en Ondas escolares. En 2013 obtiene la licenciatura en Dirección Escénica por la Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid. Entre sus trabajos cinematográficos como director y guionista encontramos "El caballero irreal" (2007, producido por la Junta de Castilla - La Mancha), "La puerta" (2006) y "Asfalto" (2005, producida por la escuela Metrópolis). "Melón" es su último cortometraje, producido por Chinatown en 2017.

MANU BÁÑEZ (Huelva, SPAIN, 1977). In 2000 he moved to Madrid, where he currently resides, to study acting at the Cuarta Pared school, cinema at the Metropolis school, and video editing at Avid in School Waves. In 2013 he obtained a degree in Stage Management from the Royal School of Dramatic Arts of Madrid. Among his film works we find "El caballero unreal" (2007, produced by the Junta de Castilla - La Mancha), "The door" (2006) and "Asphalt" (2005, produced by Metropolis School). "Melon" is his last shot film, produced by Chinatown in 2017.
