Sinopsis / Synopsis

Hacemos un viaje para descubrir a Julio Camba, uno de los periodistas españoles más populares y olvidados del siglo XX. Viajamos a través de su memoria, de los testimonios de biógrafos amigos y las lecturas de sus artículos en las ciudades del mundo en las que trabajó como corresponsal, durante su último baño en la habitación 383 del Hotel Palace de Madrid, donde murió.

We invite you to make an orignal journey to discover Julio Camba, one of the most popular and forgotten Spanish journalists of the 20th century. We travel through his memory, the testimonies of his biographers, friends and the readings of his articles in the cities of the world where he worked as a correspondent, during his last bath in his room 383 at Palace Hotel in Madrid, where he died.

ASER ÁLVAREZ GONZÁLEZ (Ourense, España, 20/06/1976) Licenciado en Políticas y Periodismo, Máster y Especialista en Comunicación Audiovisual, dirige el Festival Internacional de Cine Carlos Velo. Ha trabajado en prensa, radio y televisión, es socio de Arraianos Producións y autor de libros, guías de viajes y trabajos multimedia. El documental 100% CEF es su ópera prima, con el que gana el Premio Mestre Mateo al Mejor Documental, el Premio Especial en el Festival de Cine de Bucarest y otros premios, circulando por festivales de Europa y América. Desde entonces ha producido numerosos documentales sobre arte y cultura, recuperando historias auténticas de personajes famosos y anónimos.

ASER ÁLVAREZ GONZÁLEZ (Ourense, Spain, 06/20/1976) Degree in Politics and Journalism, Masters and Specialist in Audiovisual Communication, directs the Carlos Velo International Film Festival. He has worked in newspapers, radio and television, is a partner of Arraianos Producións and author of books, guides and multimedia works. The documentary 100% CEF is his debut feature, which won the Mestre Mateo Award for Best Documentary, the Special Prize at the Bucharest Film Festival and other awards, circulating around festivals in Europe and America. Since then he has produced numerous documentaries about arts and culture and recovering authentic stories of famous and anonymous characters.
