Niofar cuenta la historia de una chica francesa que viaja a conocer Senegal y sus costumbres esperando sentirse integrada. La película es un poema visual: "Yo" contra "tú", "él" es un extraño, pero los tres nos fundimos en "nosotros". En Wolof, Niofiar significa "estar juntos". Es una oda al intercambio y diversidad cultural.

Niofar tells the story of a French girl who went to meet the Senegal and its inhabitants in the hope to become integrated. The film is a visual poem on the meeting: "I" against "you", "he" who is stranger, but the three blend into "us". In Wolof, Niofiar means "to be together". It’s an ode to sharing and cultural exchanges.

HUGO LEMANT (Lagny-sur-Marne, FRANCIA, 1990). Gracias a su formación como montador, Hugo ha creado su propio estilo, poderoso y rítmico. Primero, editando varios exitosos vídeos musicales (Kanye West, Etienne de Crécy, Justice, Skip The Use…) y después trabajando para prestigiosas marcas como L’Oréal, Persol, Louis Vuitton, Nissan, Chanel… La industria del cine también ha confiado en el para los montajes de los largometrajes «Links of Life» (de Marie-Hélène Roux) y «Thirst Street» (de Nathan Silver). Ahora centrado en su carrera como director, su bagaje como montador le da una visión especial a su trabajo.

HUGO LEMANT (Lagny-sur-Marne, FRANCE, 1990). Thanks to his formation of Editor, Hugo built himself a unique style, powerful and rhythmic. First thanks the editing of various successful music video (Kanye West, Etienne de Crécy, Justice, Skip The Use…). Then, he put his experience at the service of advertising for prestigious brands like L’Oréal, Persol, Louis Vuitton, Nissan, Chanel… The movie industry also call on his skills for the editing of feature-length films: «Links of Life» (by Marie-Hélène Roux) and «Thirst Street» (by Nathan Silver). Now focused on his work as a director, his editor background gave Hugo a sharp eye in the framing as well as a rare vision of the script breakdown and rhythm.
