Sinopsis / Synopsis

"Anoche soñé que habían vuelto. Tengo la sensación de que está a punto de suceder algo". El último guión de terror que está escribiendo José Ramón Larraz (83 años), junto a algunos momentos de sus películas, nos sumergen en su mundo onírico y misterioso, desvelándonos que él mismo encaja en sus ficciones.

"Last night I dreamt that they had returned, I have the feeling that something is about to happen". The last horror script written by José Ramón Larraz (83 years old) alongside some excerpts from his films immerses us in his dreamy and mysterious world, but also reveals he fits perfectly into his own fictions.

CELIA NOVIS, Barcelona (Spain) se licenció en Psicología, Periodismo y Comunicación Audiovisual, en universidades de Barcelona. Se formó en Guión y Dirección de Cine en escuelas de cine de Madrid, Cuba y Nueva York. De 2007 a 2011 trabajó en el desarrollo y filmación de “On Vampyres and other Symptoms”, su primera película documental como guionista, directora y productora. Actualmente la película está yendo a varios festivales internacionales de cine. Ha publicado varios reportajes periodísticos y fotográficos en medios escritos españoles durante ocho años, también es autora de diversos relatos publicados en antologías junto con otros autores: “El Descrédito. Viajes narrativos en torno a Louis Ferdinand Céline” (Editorial Lupercalia), “Una Navidad de muerte” (Editorial Origami) y, finalmente, es la co-autora del libro “American Jesus”, un diario de ruta sobre el rodaje de esa película documental rodada en EEUU, producida por TV3 Catalunya, TVE y Glass Eye Pix (New York). Actualmente Novis reside en Nueva York donde ha terminado el guión de una película de ficción. En estos momentos se encuentra desarrollando varios proyectos audiovisuales personales -algunos ya rodados y otros en fase de pre producción- como “ Net ” (NYC, 2013), una película experimental en Blanco y Negro. Aparte, trabaja como Coordinadora de Artes Visuales en el centro artístico y cultural La Nacional en Nueva York.

CELIA NOVIS, Barcelona (Spain) She majored in Psychology, Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, at universities in Barcelona. She studied Film Direction & Screenwriting in Film Schools of Madrid, Cuba and New York. From 2007 to 2011 she worked in the making of “On Vampyres and other Symptoms”, her first documentary film as a scriptwriter, director and producer. Currently the film is going to various international film festivals. She has published several articles and pictures in Spanish written media during eight years and she is also the author of several stories collected in anthologies with other authors: “The Discredit: Narrative trips around Louis Ferdinand Céline” (Lupercalia Publishers), “A Christmas of death” (Origami Publishers) and, finally, she is the co-author of the book “American Jesus”, a travel diary about the making of that documentary filmed in the U.S., produced by TV3 (Catalan TV),TVE (Spanish TV) and Glass Eye Pix (New York). Currently Novis lives in New York, where she has finished the script for a feature film. At this moment she is developing several personal audiovisual projects -some already filmed and others to be filmed- as “Net” (NYC, 2013), an Experimental Black and White film. Apart from that, she is working as the Visual Arts Coordinator at the Artistic & Cultural center La Nacional in NYC.
