JUAN PABLO ZARAMELLA (Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA, 1972) es director y animador independiente. Todos sus cortos independientes fueron premiados en todo el mundo.  En 2010, el Festival de Animación de Annecy hizo un programa especial con sus trabajos. Su cortometraje Luminaris es el más premiado de la historia, con 326 premios en todo el mundo, incluyendo el del público y el de la crítica en Annecy 2011, y estuvo nominado al Oscar al Mejor Corto Animado en 2012. Su último cortometraje se llama “Onión”, y combina actores filmados en vivo con diferentes técnicas de animación experimental.
Tambien acaba de terminar su primer serie, “El Hombre mas Chiquito del Mundo”, en coproducción con Francia y Argentina.

JUAN PABLO ZARAMELLA (Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA, 1972). All his independent shorts have been awarded all around the world.  In 2010, Annecy International Animation Festival presented a special program with a selection of his works. His film “Luminaris” is the most awarded short in history, with 326 international awards, including the Audience Award and Fipresci Award at Annecy 2011, and was in the Oscars Shortlist for Best Animated Short.  His new short film is called “Onión”, a combination of live action and different experimental animation techniques.  He recently finished “The Tiniest Man in the World”, a 52 episode series made in co-production with France and Argentina.
