Sinopsis / Synopsis

En el pacífico pantano, un hombre solitario camina entre la hierba larga, arrastrándose cuidadosamente por el agua. Incapaz de encajar en el mundo de los humanos, prefiere pasar su tiempo con reptiles de sangre fría, cuidándolos con una empatía extraordinaria. La soledad es su forma de supervivencia, pero también su mayor enemigo.

In peaceful swampland, a solitary man wades through long grass, crawling carefully through the water. Unable to fit in with the world of humans, he prefers to spend his time with cold-blooded reptiles, caring for them with extraordinary empathy. Solitude is his way of survival but also his biggest enemy.

HANNA HOVITIE (Helsinki, FINLANDIA, 1991) es una directora de cine de Helsinki, Finlandia. Tiene antecedentes (BA) en Cinematografía y Edición y en 2019 se graduó como Maestría en Artes en Dirección Documental del Programa Internacional de Titulación Conjunta DocNomads con sede en Lisboa, Budapest y Bruselas. En su trabajo fílmico, estudia la relación triangular moderna entre humanos, naturaleza y ciencia.

HANNA HOVITIE (Helsinki, FINLAND, 1991) is a film director from Helsinki, Finland. She has a background (BA) in Cinematography and Editing and in 2019 she graduated as an MA of Arts in Documentary Directing from the international DocNomads Joint Degree Program based in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels. In her filmic work she studies the modern, triangular relationship between humans, nature and science.
