Sinopsis / Synopsis

Tierra de Cierzo cuenta parte de la historia de la música en Aragón y en España desde finales de los 70 hasta hoy. Está narrada por los propios protagonistas de la historia (Amaral, Héroes del Silencio, Violadores del Verso…) acercando al espectador a la influencia del pasado sobre la música actual y la influencia de estos en el panorama internacional. Plantea además el sentido de la música para los propios artistas, la unión de los creadores y el solapamiento generacional.

The land of the northern wind chronicles a part of the history of the music in Aragón and Spain from the last 70s until today. It’s narrated by the true main figures of this history: Amaral, Héroes del Silencio, Violadores del Verso... It guides the audience through the influence of the past in all the things which are happenning nowadays in national and international music. It talks about the sense of music for the musicians, the coalescence between creators and the generational overlap.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

JORGE NEBRA (Zaragoza, 1973) Estudia diseño gráfico en La Escuela de Arte de HUESCA. Realiza un postgrado en la Universidad de Zaragoza en técnicas de vídeo y TV. En el año 1996 filma su primer corto “El coleccionista”. Posteriormente viaja a Madrid, donde estudia en el Instituto Oficial de RTVE. En 1998 viaja a Cuba al EICTV y se especializa en Dirección de Fotografía. Allí realiza su segundo corto de ficción, “La Espera” y en el 99 rodará el tercero, Don Quijote de la Marcha. A finales del año 2001 rueda Habanece, su polémico primer largometraje. Éste se presenta a finales del 2003 en el FCZ. Desde entonces, continúa desarrollando su labor como productor/director de cine y publicidad. Tras realizar varias series documentales, video clips y spots TV, Jorge estrena en “IN EDIT 2010” el largometraje documental “Tierra de Cierzo”.

JORGE NEBRA (Zaragoza, Spain, 1973) He attended Art School in Huesca, where he studied graphic design. He got a degree at the University of Zaragoza in video and TV. In 1996 he directed his first fiction short film, “El coleccionista”. He travelled to Madrid, where he attended Official Institute of RTVE. In 1998 he attended International Cinema School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), where got specialized in Photography Direction. There he directed his second short film, “La espera”. In Spain he directed his third short film “Don Quijote de la Marcha”. A year later he began to write the script of a fiction long film, “Habanece”, that he would direct in 2001, when he went back to Cuba. He came back to Spain and worked as a director and producer of cinema and commercials. He directed some national documentary serials, and many musical videos and spots for TV. In 2010 he directed his second full-length film: Tierra de Cierzo, firstly shown in IN EDIT Festival in 2010.
