Wavewidth captura la sensación de calma que puede dar un paisaje costero. Levantados por las ondas del tiempo, los puntos de referencia espacio-temporales son perturbados por el sonido. Las olas del mar y las del sonido se responden mutuamente en una experiencia cinematográfica contemplativa.

Wavewidth captures the sense of calm that a seaside landscape can provide. Lifted by waves of time, the spatio-temporal markers are blurred by the sound. The marine and sound waves resonate in a contemplative cinematographic experience.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

ETHANN NÉON (Bruselas, Bélgica, 29/02/1993) Estudió cine de animación en Bruselas y obtuvo un máster en Artes Plásticas, Visuales y Espaciales. Realiza películas experimentales en torno a la noción de espacio-tiempo de forma cinematográfica. Su práctica actual se centra en los procesos de reconstrucción visual del tiempo y la división del espacio en el marco de la pantalla. La estética de sus películas se caracteriza por elaboradas pantallas divididas que juegan con el encuadre y el fuera de campo.

ETHANN NÉON (Brussels, Belgium, 29/02/1993) He studied animation cinema in Brussels and obtained a master's degree in Plastic, Visual and Space Arts. He makes experimental films around the notion of space-time in a cinematographic form. His current practice focuses on the processes of visual reconstruction of time and the division of space within the framework of the screen. The aesthetics of his films is characterized by elaborated splitscreens that play with the frame and the off-camera.
