WIEKE KAPTEIJNS (Hertogenbosch, Países Bajos, 26/08/1990) Tras sus estudios de Historia e Historia Pública, se ha centrado cada vez más en la (re)utilización de material de archivo en documentales creativos. Ha dirigido varias series internacionales en YouTube sobre la II Guerra Mundial, en las que buscaba constantemente la forma de acercarse lo más posible al pasado mediante material de archivo y crear una identificación emocional con el espectador. En la actualidad, se centra más en documentales lineales de alta calidad y realiza investigaciones de archivo para documentales de otras personas.
WIEKE KAPTEIJNS (Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, 26/08/1990) After his studies in History and Public History, he has increasingly focused on the (re)use of archival material in creative documentaries. He has directed several international YouTube series about World War II, in which he constantly sought how to come as close as possible to the past through archival material and create an emotional identification with the viewer. Nowadays, he focuses more on high-quality linear documentaries. He also conducts archival research for other people's documentaries and often edits the final film.
