ROBERTO BARBA REBAZA "EL JARCOR" (Lima, PERU 07/10/1970) tiene 8 cortometrajes entre ficciones y animación. Su cortometraje "Modernidad" ha sido selección oficial en el 37eme Festival de Clermont - Ferrand en Francia 2015 y varios con premios y selecciones en diversos festivales nacionales e internacionales estando dos de sus cortos en el Shortfilm Corner de Cannes. Organizó por ocho años la muestra permanente de cortometrajes “La Noche de los cortos” y ha trabajado en edición , sonido, dirección, tanto en cine y TV. Con su empresa Transversal Films viene desarrollando un nuevo cortometraje de animación y un proyecto de largometraje.

ROBERTO BARBA REBAZA "EL JARCOR" (Lima, PERU 10/07/1970) has 8 short films made between fiction and animation. His last Short film “Modernidad (Modernity) was official selection in 37eme Clermont – Ferrand International Short film Festival in France in Janaury 2015 and several of them awards with official selections at various national and international festivals being two of his shorts in the Shortfilm Corner of Cannes among others. He organized for eight years the permanent exhibition of short films "Night of the short" and has worked in different areas such as editing, sound, direction, both in film and TV. Transversal Films is his own company.
