FRANCESCA CASTELBUONO (Milán, ITALIA, 12/12/1987) es una directora ítalo-británica y galardonada escritora. Con una formación en teatro, hizo la transición al cine adquiririendo experiencia en largometrajes y en la industria en general con empresas como Recorded Picture Company, Universal y New Regency. Sus películas y videosclips han sido proyectado en festivales de todo el mundo y en Dazed & Confused online. Su guión "Faded" (actualmente en desarrollo) recientemente ganó el Live Script Reading Award en the British Urban Film Festival de Channel 4. Francesca también está co-escribiendo su primer guión de largometraje, que fue galardonado con financiación para la investigación por la Finnish Cultural Foundation.

With a background in theatre, she transitioned to film gaining experience on feature films and in the broader industry with companies such as Recorded Picture Company, Universal and New Regency. Francesca’s films and music videos have screened at festivals worldwide and online on Dazed & Confused and Promo News. Her script ‘Faded’ (currently in development) recently won a Live Script Reading Award at the British Urban Film Festival supported by Channel 4. Francesca is also co-writing her first feature film screenplay, which was awarded research funding from the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
