Sinopsis / Synopsis

Como muchos aborígenes, Jadai es detenido injustamente y maltratado en la cárcel, pero se sobrepone a la brutalidad y los prejuicios para ganarse el respeto de su pueblo.

Like many aboriginal men, Jadai is wrongfully arrested and mistreated in prison yet he rises above the brutality and prejudice to earn the respect of his town.

NATHAN MEWETT (Adelaida, Australia, 29/09/1981) y CURTIS TAYLOR (Parnngurr, Australia, 26/05/1986) son cineastas del remoto desierto de Australia Occidental. Curtis es un joven líder martu (aborigen australiano) y Nathan es de ascendencia polaca. Ambos viven actualmente en Perth y han realizado recientemente numerosas películas con éxito como equipo de colaboración y también en solitario.

NATHAN MEWETT (Adelaide, Australia, 29/09/1981) and CURTIS TAYLOR (Parnngurr, Australia, 26/05/1986) are film-makers from the remote Western Australian Desert. Curtis is a young Martu (Australian Aboriginal) leader and Nathan is from Polish descent. Both live currently in Perth and have recently completed numerous successful films as a collaborative team and also in solo endeavours.
