Andrey Koulev es un director de cine, artista, guionista y productor, nacido en Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduado de la Academia Nacional de Teatro y Artes Cinematográficas con una maestría en dirección cinematográfica. Desde 1996 creó una serie de cortometrajes y documentales de animación seleccionados y premiados en numerosos festivales internacionales y nacionales. Miembro de la Unión de Artistas Plásticos de Bulgaria y de la Unión de Cineastas Búlgaros. En 2016 fue profesor invitado de animación en la Universidad JAI en Changchun, China. Desde 2011 es director de arte del Festival Mundial de Cine de Animación de Varna. Sus películas participaron en una serie de festivales en todo el mundo.

 Andrey Koulev is a film director, artist, screen writer and producer, born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts with a M.A. in film directing. Since 1996 he created a number of animated documentary and short feature films selected and awarded in many international and national festivals. Member of Union of Bulgarian Fine Artists and the Union of Bulgarian Film Makers. In 2016 he was a guest professor in animation at JAI University in Changchun, China. Since 2011 he is an art director of the World Festival of Animated Film, Varna. His films participated in a series of festivals all over the World.
