Silvia De Gennaro (Italia, 1961) vive y trabaja en Roma, Italia. Desde 1999 es miembro fundador del estudio de arte Assaus. Lleva veinte años dedicándose al videoarte y la animación. Sus obras han participado en varias exposiciones de videoarte y festivales de cine de todo el mundo, como: "Bnl Media Art Festival", Museo MAXXI, Roma (IT); "Video Formes" Clermont Ferrand (FR); "Current New Media" Santa Fè (U.S.A.); "F.I.L. E" (BRA); "Madatac" Madrid (ES); "Invideo" Milán (IT); "Les Instants Vidéo", Marsella (FR); "Athens Video Art Festival" (GR); "Interfilm Berlino" (D); "Nastri d'Argento Award" - Roma (IT).
