Inspired by the figure and work of Simone de Beauvoir, this piece explores the historical condition of being a woman. Simona is born into a masculine world and fights to claim herself as a free subject.

El Colectivo El Rayo Verde nace en Madrid en 2021 de la mano de sus integrantes Alberto Baldini y Víctor Luiz Riona. Tras estudiar dirección en la ECAM, ambos enfocan sus carreras en la creación de ficción, videoclips y publicidad, destacando entre sus trabajos TEO VA AL ESPACIO (Alberto Baldini, 2020), LA GALLINITA CIEGA (Víctor Luiz Riona, 2019), UNA MIRADA (Alberto Baldini, 2021), DISTANT LIGHTS (Víctor Luiz Riona, 2021) y EL MONSTRUO (Alberto Baldini & Víctor Luiz Riona, 2021). SIMONA es su último trabajo como colectivo hasta el momento, en la que es su segunda colaboración con la artista Arisa Vedra.

The Rayo Verde Collective was born in Madrid in 2021 by its members Alberto Baldini and Víctor Luiz Riona. After studying directing at ECAM, both focus their careers on the creation of fiction, video clips and advertising, highlighting among their works TEO VA AL ESPACIO (Alberto Baldini, 2020), LA GALLINITA CIEGA (Víctor Luiz Riona, 2019), UNA MIRADA ( Alberto Baldini, 2021), DISTANT LIGHTS (Víctor Luiz Riona, 2021) and EL MONSTRUO (Alberto Baldini & Víctor Luiz Riona, 2021). SIMONA is their latest work as a collective to date, in what is their second collaboration with the artist Arisa Vedra.
