ESTHER ZHOU (Nanjing, China, 18/10/1998) Se licenció en la Escuela de Artes Cinematográficas de la USC, especializándose en escritura, dirección y cinematografía. Inició su carrera como freelance trabajando en proyectos comerciales y televisivos, entre ellos para Discovery Channel. En 2022, se trasladó a Nueva York para cursar un posgrado en escritura y diseño para teatro musical en BerkleeNYC, durante el cual creó el musical de larga duración «KINFLICT», interpretado por actores profesionales de Broadway. Esther, una ávida viajera, se inspiró en su viaje espontáneo a Japón en enero de 2024 para crear su cortometraje documental "Amidst the Chaos". En la actualidad, compagina proyectos independientes con su próximo EP "Cruelty", al tiempo que imparte clases de edición de vídeo en la New York Film Academy. Esther aspira a escribir y dirigir un largometraje que aúne sus pasiones por el cine y la música.

ESTHER ZHOU (Nanjing, China, 18/10/1998) Graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts with a focus on writing, directing, and cinematography. She launched her freelance career working on commercial and TV projects, including for the Discovery Channel. In 2022, she moved to New York to pursue a graduate degree in writing and design for musical theater at BerkleeNYC, during which she created the full-length musical "KINFLICT," performed by professional Broadway actors. An avid traveler, Esther drew inspiration for her documentary short film "Amidst the Chaos", from her spontaneous trip to Japan in January 2024. Currently, she balances freelance projects and her upcoming EP "Cruelty", while also teaching video editing at the New York Film Academy. Esther aspires to eventually write and direct a feature film that melds her passions for film and music.
