En una ciudad del norte en un mundo alborotado donde el fútbol es solo para chicas y el ballet es la ocupación más masculina que existe, un chico de clase trabajadora desafía a la sociedad y los deseos de su padre a favor de su reprimida fascinación por el deporte de sus hermanas: fútbol.

Set in a Northern town in a topsy-turvy world where football is only for girls and ballet is the manliest pursuit there is, one working class boy defies society and his father’s wishes in favour of his repressed fascination with his sisters sport; football.

ALEX FORBES (Northamptonshire, REINO UNIDO, 1993) es director en Fancy a Jam Pictures. Después de fundar la compañía en 2014, ha dirigido múltiples cortometrajes de muchos estilos en colaboración con Creative England, BFI, Random Acts, Screen South, Arts Council England y Channel 4. Sus cortometrajes se han emitido en Sky Arts y Channel 4, y se han proyectado en festivales de todo el mundo, como Atlanta, London Short Film Festival, Encounters, Aesthetica y Camerimage. Recibió un premio de la Royal Television Society por su cortometraje "Sunday Dinner with the Morgans" (2014).

ALEX FORBES (Northamptonshire, UNITED KINGDOM, 1993) is a director at Fancy a Jam Pictures. Since forming the production company in 2014, he has directed a number of short films in a variety of styles working in collaboration with Creative England, the BFI, Random Acts, Screen South, Arts Council England and Channel 4. His short films have been broadcast on Sky Arts, Channel 4 and have been screened across the globe at festivals such as Atlanta, London Short Film Festival, Encounters, Aesthetica and Camerimage. His is the recipient of a Royal Television Society award for his 2014 undergraduate short film, "Sunday Dinner with the Morgans".
