La mujer de uno de los pilotos enemigos de la película Top Gun elabora una disertación sobre la interconexión de las imágenes a través del tiempo y del misterio que rodea la muerte de su marido. ¿Puede una imagen matar a un hombre? Ensayo que analiza las fronteras entre imagen, violencia y realidad.

The wife of a pilot of the film Top Gun discusses about the interconnection between the images throuhgout time and the mystery involving his hubsand’s death. Can an image kill a man? Fiction essay that analyzes the boundaries amongst image, violence and reality.

ANA RODRÍGUEZ LEÓN (Barcelona, ESPAÑA, 1981). Guionista y directora, formada en la ESCAC. Su trabajo abarca la ficción, el documental y el vídeo experimental. Ha dirigido varios cortometrajes y piezas de vídeo: "Bell & Howell 2146 XL" (2011), "Memorais" (2012), "La máquina espiritual" (2012), "El umbral de cristal" (2015) y "Cranc" (2016), que se han exhibido en festivales nacionales e internacionales, como Cinespaña, el Festival Internacional de Las Palmas, Anthology Film Archives NY, FIVA... entre muchos otros, obteniendo diversos reconocimientos."Beyond action" ha sido considerado como uno de los mejores 200 vídeoensayos de 2018 según la revista Sight and Sound, incluido en la lista del crítico David Verdeure.

ANA RODRÍGUEZ LEÓN (Barcelona, SPAIN,1981). Screenwriter and director, she studied cinema at ESCAC. Her work goes through fiction, documentary and experimental video. She has directed several the works, most relevant are: "Bell & Howell 2146 XL" (2011), "Memorais" (2012), "The spiritual machine" (2012), "The glass threshold" (2015) and "Cranc" (2016). Her works have been screened at national and international festivals, like Cinespaña (Toulouse), Las Palmas International Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives NY or FIVA , amongst many others, winning several prizes. "Beyond action" has been considered one of the best 200 video-essays of 2018 according to the magazine Sight and Sound, shortlisted by David Verdeure.
