Sinopsis / Synopsis

Peter escribe poemas. Poemas sobre aguantar, sobre resistencia. Poemas sobre el amor y la libertad. Por sí solo, la escritura es un acto reprensible en el mundo en el que vive. Viviendo escondido con su esposa, pronto será descubierto por el terrible coronel Kapi.

Peter writes poems. Poems about holding on, about resistance. Poems about love and freedom. By itself, writing is reprehensible act in the world he lives in. Living in hiding with his wife, he is soon to be uncovered by the terrible Colonel Kapi.

TOM GUTTIERREZ (Lyon, FRANCIA, 1976) desarrolló muy pronto el gusto por la narración. Contar historias también se trata de dar vida a los personajes que él mismo crea al observar la vida de los demás. El cine que ama y que defiende es definitivamente una exploración de la sociedad actual, a través de la descripción del hombre, su existencia, sus creencias y, a veces, su brutalidad. Profundamente arraigado en la tradición del cine francés, su estilo es bastante técnico, sin artificios, dando un lugar de honor a las personas, sus vidas y sus muertes. Se reconoce plenamente en el cine independiente de los Estados Unidos.

TOM GUTTIERREZ (Lyon, FRANCE, 1976) developed a taste for storytelling. Telling stories is also about bringing to life characters that he creates himself by observing the lives of others. The cinema that he loves and that he defends is definitely a scan of today's society, through the description of Man, his existence, his beliefs and sometimes his brutality. Deeply anchored in the tradition of French film, his style is rather technically posed, without artifices, giving pride of place to individuals, their lives and their deaths. He fully recognizes himself in independent US cinema.
