Sinopsis / Synopsis

Tras la muerte de don Joaquín, su esposa y su hijo se ven inmersos en una disputa por el qué hacer con sus tierras. Rodeados por las planicies, deberán emprender un viaje llano adentro, confrontando a una enigmática bestia, que se niega obstinadamente a abandonar sus tierras.

After Mr. Joaquín’s death, his wife and son find themselves immersed in a dispute over what to do with their lands. Surrounded by plains, they must undertake a journey into the heart of these lands, confronting an enigmatic beast that stubbornly refuses to leave its territory.

JUAN MIGUEL GELACIO (Bogotá, Colombia, 02/09/1995 ) Productor, director y editor colombiano centrado en largometrajes de ficción y cortometrajes. “Selva”, su primera película como guionista y director fue seleccionada para el WIP Latam del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián (2023). Actualmente se encuentra en el desarrollo de su segundo largometraje como productor y director, "A la hora de poner la mesa ya no éramos cinco". Sus cortometrajes anteriores como director y productor han sido seleccionados en festivales como el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena, Moscow International Film Festival, Bogoshorts, entre otros.

JUAN MIGUEL GELACIO (Bogotá, Colombia, 02/09/1995 ) Colombian producer, director and editor focusing on fiction features and short films. ‘Selva’, his first film as screenwriter and director, was selected for the WIP Latam of the San Sebastian International Film Festival (2023). He is currently developing his second feature film as producer and director, ‘A la hora de poner la mesa ya no éramos cinco’. His previous short films as director and producer have been selected at festivals such as the Cartagena International Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, Bogoshorts, among others.
