Visited one night by his down-and-out sister, luc, the struggling owner of a hair salon, must find a way to meet her needs without offending the sensibilities of a wealthy customer.

Nacido en Guangzhou, Simon emigró con su familia a Nueva Zelanda cuando era niño. Trabajó como guionista de documentales para la televisión antes de regresar a China, donde ejerció durante varios años como crítico de cine en Time Out Beijing. Actualmente reside en París y su primer cortometraje es Coiffeur.

Born in guangzhou, simon migrated with his family to new zealand as a child. He worked as a documentary writer for television before returning to china, where he served for several years as the film critic at time out beijing. Currently based in paris, Coiffeur is his first short film.
