Sinopsis / Synopsis

Jose Manuel Martínez Pérez, escultor, decide hacer una escultura diferente al resto de trabajos que ha hecho hasta ahora, para ello trabaja con Constanza, una joven modelo, estudiante de historia del arte. Durante meses trabajan juntos en el taller y su relación avanza a medida que la obra se va completando.

Jose Manuel Martínez Pérez, sculptor, decides to make a sculpture different from the rest of the work he has done so far, to do so he works with Constanza, a young model, student of art history. For months they work together in the workshop and their relationship progresses as the work is completed.

AGUSTÍN MÁRQUEZ GÓMEZ (Madrid, España, 19/07/1991) Se licenció como ingeniero en la universidad UPM de Madrid y en la universidad IIT en Chicago obteniendo la mejor nota posible en el proyecto de final de carrera. Además, estudió pintura y cinematografía en la ESDIP, artista multidisciplinar dedicándose tanto a la pintura realista como a la informalista. Por su polivalencia fue contratado por primera vez en la industria cinematográfica para diseñar el arte conceptual de la película Tadeo Jones 3 en el 2019. Desde entonces ha trabajado en cine, como director y autoproductor de películas independientes defendiendo una mirada propia. Además, pasa largas estancias en África filmando reportajes en colaboración con la ONG África Directo para informar de situaciones extremas en países como Uganda, Kenia, Camerún y Sudán del Sur. Sus principales documentales son: Brothers (2022), The land for yesterday(2023), Constanza (2025) y La Barraca (2025).

AGUSTÍN MÁRQUEZ GÓMEZ (Madrid, Spain, 07/19/1991) He graduated as an engineer from the UPM University of Madrid and the IIT University in Chicago, achieving the highest possible grade in his final degree project. Additionally, he studied painting and filmmaking at ESDIP, becoming a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to both realistic and informalist painting. Due to his versatility, he was first hired in the film industry in 2019 to design the concept art for the movie Tadeo Jones 3. Since then, he has worked in cinema as a director and independent filmmaker, advocating for a unique perspective. He also spends long periods in Africa filming documentaries in collaboration with the NGO África Directo to report on extreme situations in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon, and South Sudan. His main documentaries include Brothers (2022), The Land for Yesterday (2023), Constanza (2025), and La Barraca (2025).
