ALFIE DALE (Londres, Reino Unido, 05/05/1988) Es un galardonado director londinense. Le atraen las películas basadas en personajes. El último cortometraje de Alfie fue «Mi hermano es una sirena», estrenado en el Festival de Cine Iris Prize, calificado para los BAFTA, donde ganó el premio al Mejor Cortometraje Británico, el Premio del Público y el Premio del Jurado Joven. A continuación, la película ganó el premio principal en el Festival de Cine de Norwich, clasificatorio para los BAFTA, recibió una Mención Especial en el Flickerfest, clasificatorio para la Academia, y ganó el premio al Mejor Cortometraje en los Premios de la Asociación de Directores de Casting. ALFIE DALE (London, United Kingdom, 05/05/1988) He is an award winning director from London. He is drawn to character driven films. Alfie’s last short was 'My Brother Is A Mermaid' premiered at the BAFTA-qualifying Iris Prize Film Festival, where it won Best British Short Film, the Audience Award and the Youth Jury Award. The film went on to win the main prize at the BAFTA-qualifying Norwich Film Festival, received a Special Mention at Academy Qualifying Flickerfest, and won Best Short at The Casting Director’s Association Awards. The film received nominations at over 15 other BAFTA/Academy qualifying festivals, and played at over 50 other festivals globally.
