Sinopsis / Synopsis

Finales de los años cuarenta, José Luis es uno de los pocos guerrilleros que queda en la sierra colindante a un pequeño pueblo madrileño. La guardia civil cierra el cerco cada día más y sobrevive como puede. Su madre y hermano son sus únicos enlaces.

Late 1940s, José Luis is one of the few guerrillas remaining in the mountains near a small Madrid village. The Civil Guard tightens the noose every day, and he survives as best he can. His mother and brother are his only connections.

PEDRO FUERTES (Algeciras, España, 21/09/2000). Se ha dedicado durante años a la escritura de crítica y ensayos sobre cine, además de su faceta como entrevistador que le ha llevado a algunos de los festivales más conocidos del panorama internacional, como San Sebastián o la Berlinale. Actualmente se encuentra en la postproducción y distribución de sus primeros trabajos como director de cine; "Echado al monte", un cortometraje sobre el movimiento maqui en los años cuarenta y un largometraje de ficción, aún en montaje. En noviembre de 2023 publica su primera novela, "Gracias por llorar", con la editorial valenciana Sar Alejandría Ediciones.

PEDRO FUERTES (Algeciras, Spain, 21/09/2000). He has spent years writing film criticism and essays, in addition to his role as an interviewer, which has taken him to some of the most renowned festivals on the international scene, such as San Sebastián and the Berlinale. He is currently in the post-production and distribution phase of his first works as a film director: "Echado al monte," a short film about the maqui movement in the 1940s, and a feature-length fiction film, still in editing. In November 2023, he will publish his first novel, "Gracias por llorar," with the Valencian publisher Sar Alejandría Ediciones.
