Sinopsis / Synopsis

Durian nació con las expresiones faciales al revés que el resto del mundo. La película muestra la época en la vida de este niño convirtiéndose en joven a través de momentos reales e imaginarios de su mundo.

Durian was born with his facial expressions opposite to everyone else.The film shows a time span of this little boy growing into a young adult, by displaying milestones in both his real life and his imaginary world.

YANGZI SHE (Pekín, CHINA, 08/05/1989) se crió en Pekín, pero se mudó a Los Angeles a estudiar animación en la UCLA en 2011. Eggplant es su proyecto final. Trabaja como visual designer y storyboard artist freelance.

YANGZI SHE (Beijing, CHINA, 05/08/1989) was raised in Beijing and moved to Los Angeles to study animation at UCLA since 2011.Eggplant is her thesis film. She currently works as a freelance storyboard artist and visual designer.
