Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un joven intenta acercarse a su padre a partir de la muerte de su abuelo. Sin embargo, hay una gran incomunicación entre ellos. Visita los lugares en los que se refugia su padre intentando encontrarlo en ellos, mientras recuerda qué fue lo que los alejó. Esta película aborda la masculinidad y las relaciones padre e hijo.

A young man tries to approach his father after the death of his grandfather. However, there is a lack of communication between them. Visit the places where his father takes refuge trying to find him in them. As he remembers that it was what drove them away. This film deals with masculinity and relations father and son.

MIGUEL ÁNGEL SÁNCHEZ M. (Ciudad de México, MÉXICO, 1981). “El abismo”, su tesis fílmica, es selección oficial en competencia del XV Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Su más reciente producción cinematográfica en desarrollo, el largometraje documental “La misma sangre”, ha participado en el Taller de Desarrollo de Proyectos Cinematográficos de Centroamérica y el Caribe IBERMEDIA (Cuba), MiradasDoc (Islas Canarias, Tenerife), Nuevas Miradas de la EICTV (Cuba), Residencia Andina de Guión Documental (Ecuador) y el Talent Coproduction Meeting del Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara. Es productor del largometraje de ficción “Sobre la estabilidad de los 3 cuerpos”.

MIGUEL ÁNGEL SÁNCHEZ M. (Mexico City, MEXICO, 1981). "The abyss" is official selection in competition of the XV International Film Festival of Morelia. His most recent film production in development, the feature documentary "The Same Blood", has participated in the Film Development Workshop of Central America and the Caribbean IBERMEDIA (Cuba), MiradasDoc (Canary Islands, Tenerife), "Nuevas Miradas" of the EICTV (Cuba), Andean Residency of Documentary Screenplay (Ecuador) and the Talent Coproduction Meeting of the Guadalajara International Film Festival. He is the producer of the feature film "About the stability of the 3 bodies".
