Sinopsis / Synopsis

Esta película es el diario personal de una mujer a la que todo le sale mal. Esa mujer tenía todo lo que se supone que hay que tener para ser feliz: un trabajo serio y remunerado, una pareja para toda la vida, una vida estable. Todo eso se ha ido a la mierda (con perdón). No le queda otra que suicidarse, pero eso también le sale mal. ¿Qué hacer? Habrá que seguir viviendo… Vivamos pues, pero de otra manera. Esa mujer va a hacer lo que nunca se atrevió a hacer en sus cincuenta años de vida: va a preguntarse qué quiere realmente ELLA. A lo mejor no quiere un trabajo serio ni una pareja para toda la vida ni una vida estable… No lo sabe. No sabe nada. Nunca ha estado tan perdida. Por lo tanto, está en el mejor momento para hacerse preguntas (¿cuándo, cómo y por qué se ha ido todo a la mierda?) y para buscar respuestas, o mejor, para buscar nuevas preguntas. Esa búsqueda es la que estructura esta película. Una especie de “road movie”, un viaje que la irá llevando a lugares que nunca imaginó que podían existir.

This film is the personal diary of a woman for whom everything goes wrong, because she is imperfect and analogue. That woman had everything one is supposed to have to be happy: a serious and paid job, a partner for life, a stable life. All that has gone to shit (excuse me). He has no choice but to commit suicide, but that also goes wrong. To do? We will have to continue living… Let's live then, but in another way. That woman is going to do what she never dared to do in her fifty years of life: she is going to ask herself what SHE really wants. Maybe he doesn't want a serious job or one for life or a stable life partner... He doesn't know. He knows nothing. She has never been so lost. Therefore, it is the best time to ask questions (when, how and why did everything go to shit?) and to search for answers, or better, to search for new questions. That search is the structure of this film. It will therefore be a kind of “road movie”, a journey that will take her to places she never imagined could exist.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

Nació en Sevilla, España (30/06/1967). Licenciada en Arte Dramático por el Instituto del Teatro de Sevilla y en Filología Hispánica por la UNED. Diplomada en guión y dirección de cine por el Instituto del Cine de Madrid. Alterna sus trabajos actorales con la dirección y la docencia. Ha dirigido varias películas de no ficción: Entre voces (2.004), Las Veredas (2.006), El hombre feliz (2008) -Goya al Mejor Cortometraje Documental- y el largometraje Los amores difíciles (2.011) -Premio ASECAN y Alcances, entre otros-. ¿Quién es Ingrid Bergman? (2021) y Go West! (2022) son sus últimas obras.

Born in Seville, Spain (30/06/1967). Graduated in Spanish Language and Literature from UNED (University of Madrid), Drama from Seville Insitute of Theatre, and a Script and Cinema Direction certificate from the Cinema Investigation Core, in Madrid. She alternates acting with direction and teaching. In 2003, she began directing short films and documentaries: Cocktail (2003), Among voices (2004), Las Veredas (2006), The happy man (2008 Spanish Academy Award Goya to the best documentary film), Difficult loves (2011 Best film in national and international festivals). Who is Ingrid Bergman? (2021) and Go West! are her last films.
