Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un psicólogo entrevista a los trabajadores de una empresa a raíz de un incidente: Mercedes, una trabajadora de la plantilla, ha insultado a su nuevo secretario, un joven con Síndrome de Down.

A psychologist interviews the members of a company due to an incident: Mercedes, one of the executives, has insulted his new assistant, a young man who suffers from Down Syndrome.

DANIEL REMÓN (Madrid, 07/04/1983) Diplomado en guión en la ECAM (Escuela de Cine y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid) y licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la UCM. Ha escrito los largometrajes CASUAL DAY, estrenado en 2008, seleccionado en el Festival Internacional de San Sebastián y premiado como mejor película y guión por el Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos en 2009; CINCO METROS CUADRADOS, estrenado en 2011 y premiado en el Festival de Cine de Málaga como Mejor Película, Mejor Guion y Premio de la Crítica. Ha participado en el Short Documentary Filmmaking Course de la Met Film School de Londres, así como en el European Short Script Workshop del programa NISI – MASA.

DANIEL REMÓN (Madrid, Spain, 04/07/1983) He studied Journalism and Communication in Complutense University and Documentary Filmmaking on Met Film School (London), and is graduated for scriptwriting on ECAM (Madrid Film School). He has written the feature film CASUAL DAY (“Casual day”, 2008), directed by Max Lemcke, selected on San Sebastián International Film Festival and voted Best Original Screenplay by CEC (Spanish Film Critics Asociation). His second feature film, CINCO METROS CUADRADOS (“Five square meters”, 2010), was released in November 2011, and received five awards in Málaga Film Festival, including Best Film, Critic’s Award and Best Screenplay. After co-writing the film screenplays “Bremen” (“Bremen”) and “Rapaces” (“Birds of prey”), sponsored by Comunidad de Madrid, he is now working on his next film, “South Sierra”, directed by Christophe Farnarier.
