El 6 de noviembre de 1975 fue testigo del estreno de la versión española de Jesucristo Superstar, protagonizada y producida por Camilo Sesto. El documental se adentra en los entresijos de la obra y su ardua lucha contra la censura. Se incluyen imágenes inéditas, engarzadas con la maravillosa música, ejecutada en vivo. Todo está preparado ya. Se levanta el telón.

The premiere for the Spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar took place on November 6, 1975, the leading role and producer was Camilo Sesto. ThIS documentary digs into the vowels of the work and its tough fight against censorship. There are images never seen before, intertwined with the wonderful music, played live. Everything is ready now. The curtain is risen.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

MARTA GARCÍA SARABIA (Avilés, ESPAÑA, 1992). Graduada en Historia y Ciencias de la Música por la Universidad de Oviedo y Máster en Patrimonio Musical por las universidades de Oviedo y Granada. Tuvo su primer acercamiento filmográfico de la mano del cineasta Fran Vaquero, trabajando en la empresa FSVFilms como ayudante de producción en el documental “El vivo recuerdo”. Actualmente está trabajando para dos proyectos documentales.

MARTA GARCÍA SARABIA (Avilés, SPAIN, 1992). Graduated in History and Sciences of the Music by the University of Oviedo and Ph.D. on Music Patrimony by the Universities of Oviedo and Granada. She had her first movie approach thanks to the movie-maker Fran Vaquero, working for the company FSVFilms as attached to the producer on the documentary "El Vivo Recuerdo". She is currently working on two documentary projects.
