Sinopsis / Synopsis

María lleva una vida de obediencia y servicio bajo las reglas que le impone Vicente. Tras muchos años observando cómo las gotas de lluvia golpean la ventana, María quiere sentirlas cayendo sobre su cuerpo. Para conseguirlo, debe infringir la norma más importante de todas: no salir nunca de la casa.

María leads a life of obedience and service under the rules imposed by Vicente. After many years watching how raindrops hit the window, María wants to feel them falling on her body. To achieve it, María has to break the most important rule: never leave the house.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

JAVIER ARELLANO (Madrid, 25/10/1985). Licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, donde quedó finalista en el I Concurso de Cortometrajes de la UCM, con su corto amateur “Los príncipes azules”. Completó su formación con el Máster de Guión de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid en colaboración con ALMA (Sindicato de guionistas). “Lluvia” (2013), es su primer cortometraje profesional como guionista y director.

IGNACIO MARTÍN LERMA (Logroño, 14/08/1981) Combina su actividad profesional, la Arqueología, con el mundo de lo audiovisual, firmando como director y guionista documentales científicos, videoclips y cortometrajes. Entre su filmografía destaca “Merry Little Christmas” (Luna de Itaca, 2010), trabajo codirigido junto a Manuel Marín y que obtuvo más de 40 selecciones; de ellas -más de 15 son internacionales- así como diversos premios, destacando el “Primer Premio del Festival de Cine de Zaragoza” o el “Premio del Jurado del Festival de Cine Español de Málaga”. Actualmente, presenta su último trabajo, junto a Javier Arellano, titulado “Lluvia” (2013).

JAVIER ARELLANO (Madrid, SPAIN, 10/25/1985) Holds a degree in Comunication Studies at the Complutensian University of Madrid. During his studies, he was finalist in the First Short Film Competition of the UCM, with his amateur short "Los príncipes azules". He completed his education with a Master in Screenwriting at the University Carlos III of Madrid in collaboration with ALMA (Spanish Union of screenwriters). "Lluvia" (2013) is his first professional short film as writer and director.

IGNACIO MARTIN LERMA (Logroño, SPAIN, 08/14/1981) He combines his professional activity, Archaeology, with the audiovisual world, signing on as director and screenwriter of scientific documentaries, music videos and short films. Between his films stands out "Merry Little Christmas" (Luna de Itaca, 2010), co-directed with Manuel Marín which obtained more than 40 selections (more than 15 were international) and several awards, highlighting the "First Prize Film Festival of Zaragoza" or the "Jury Prize of the Spanish Film Festival of Malaga". Currently, he presents his latest work, co-directed with Javier Arellano, entitled "Lluvia" (2013).
