Sinopsis / Synopsis

El legendario aviador Charles Nungesser, se encuentra a la deriva en medio del océano sobre los restos de su avión, el White Bird, cuando intentaba cruzar el Atlántico con su compañero Coli. Repite algunos pasajes de su vida, hecha de desafíos, de una relación constante con la muerte y el peligro, mientras sus últimos momentos parecen haber llegado esta vez.

The legendary aviator Charles Nungesser, is adrift in the middle of the ocean on the wreckage of his plane,the White Bird, as he attempted to cross the Atlantic with his companion Coli. He replays certain passages of his life, made of challenges, of a constant relationship with death and danger, while his last moments seem to have arrived this time.

Mathieu Epiney es un director y músico suizo nacido en 1982 en Ginebra. Tras estudiar en la École Supérieure d'Infographie 3D ARIES Annecy, trabajó como diseñador gráfico y en 2006 inició su carrera en la producción audiovisual. Ha dirigido varias películas de animación, como Trottoir (2009) y Spermathomme (2012). Su último cortometraje Cyclopedes (2014) ha sido galardonado con el premio Taurus Studio a la mejor banda sonora en el Festival Animatou y con el premio High Swiss Risk en el Festival Fantoche.

Mathieu Epiney is a Swiss director and musician, born in 1982 in Geneva. After studying at the École Supérieure d’Infographie 3D ARIES Annecy, he worked as a graphic designer and in 2006 lauched a career in audiovisual production. He has directed several animated films, including Trottoir (2009) and Spermathomme (2012). His latest short film Cyclopedes (2014) was awarded the Taurus Studio Prize for Best Soundtrack at the Animatou Festival and the High Swiss Risk Award at the Fantoche Festival.
