Sinopsis / Synopsis

El productor Antonio Cortés “Barullo” regresa a Barcelona con un nuevo proyecto. “México Flamenco” hermana el más emblemático cancionero mexicano con el sonido flamenco del siglo XXI. Gracias al proceso de producción conocerá dos proyectos sociales y descubrirá que la música, además de formar parte de su vida, también es una herramienta con la que poder crear dinámicas positivas entre dos culturas tan distintas.

The music producer Antonio Cortés comes back to Barcelona, after succeeding in America, with a new project to carry out. "Mexico Flamenco" brings together, in a single album, the most emblematic mexican song book with the XXI century's Flamenco sound. Due to the production process, he will step into two social projects and will discover that the music, besides being part of himself and his life, is also a tool able to create positive dynamics between both cultures as different as the gypsy, from la Mina neighborhood in Sant Adrià (Barcelona), and the Jarocha, from the Guatepec Colony, in Mexico DF.

CARLOS SÁNCHEZ-LLIBRE (Barcelona, 02/02/1975) & JOSEP MARIA BADELL (24/01/1974) En 2008 durante el rodaje de “Joves fora de sèrie” para la Televisión Catalana (TV3) se conocieron. Durante el rodaje Carlos invitó a Josep a viajar a Colombia para colaborar con un proyecto social de Tomando conciencia, la ONG de la que Carlos es gerente. En 2009 iniciaron el rodaje el primer documental codirigido por ambos ‘La força d’un sentiment’ un documental que narra la historia del Real Club Espanyol de Barcelona. En 2010 realizan su segundo documental juntos “From the streets to the fields”, sobre el futbol como herramienta para la cohesión social en Sudáfrica. En 2011 se hacen socios y crean La Cafetera Productions SL, productora audiovisual independiente.

CARLOS SÁNCHEZ-LLIBRE (Barcelona 02/02/1975) & JOSEP MARIA BADELL (24/01/1974) In 2008 during the filming of "Joves fora of sèrie" for the Catalan TV (TV3) they met. During the filming Carlos invited Josep to travel to Colombia to collaborate with a social project of "Tomando conciencia", the NGO that Carlos is a manager. In 2009 they began filming the first documentary co-directed by both "La Força d'un sentiment" about the history of the Royal Club Espanyol of Barcelona. In 2010 takes place the production of the second documentary " From the streets to the fields", which topic will be football as tool for the social cohesion in South Africa.
