Sinopsis / Synopsis

Las cajas de óptica, pensadas para una visión indvidualizada de imágenes, fueron todo un acontecimiento en la vida pública de los siglos XVIII y XIX. Pero quizás no tanto como el acontecimiento que supusieron, y suponen, las cajas de luz indviduales y digitales, aparecidas a finales del siglo XX, comunmente llamadas teléfonos móviles.

The optic boxes, that were thought for an individualized vision of images, were a huge event in the public life of the XVIIIth and XIXth century. But maybe, not as huge as the event that supposed, and still suppose, the individual and digital light boxes, that appeared at the beginning of the XXth century, commonly called mobile telephones.

ANA RODRÍGUEZ LEÓN (Barcelona, 17/08/1981) Guionista y directora, formada en la ESCAC. Su trabajo abarca la ficción, eldocumental y el vídeo experimental. Ha dirigido varios cortometrajes y piezas de vídeo, entre los que destacan Bell & Howell 2146 XL (2011), Memorais (2012) y La máquina espiritual (2012). Sus trabajos se han exhibido en festivales nacionales e internacionales, como Cinespaña (Toulouse), Anthology Film Archives (NY), Streaming Festival, Madatac, Cologne Off, entre muchos otros.

ANA RODRÍGUEZ LEÓN (Barcelona, SPAIN, 08/17/1981) She studied cinema at ESCAC. Her work goes through fiction, documentary and experimental video. She has directed several the works, most relevant are: Bell & Howell 2146 XL (2011), Memorais (2012) y La máquina espiritual (2012). Her works have been screened at national and international festivals, like Cinespaña (Toulouse), Anthology Film Archives (NY), Streaming Festival, Madatac, Cologne Off, among many others.
