Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un grupo de personas compite por un puesto de trabajo muy demandado, a través de unas extrañas oposiciones al Ayuntamiento. Los responsables del proceso darán a conocer los resultados, pero también los secretos que esconde dicha convocatoria.

A group of people compete for a highly demanded job, through a strange public examination for the City Council. The organizers will announce the results, but also the secret behind this call.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

EDGAR GARCÍA (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 02/06/1979) Cursó estudios universitarios de Historia del Arte y Periodismo, conluyendo estos últimos en Italia. En 2013 codirige, junto al guionista de televisión Pablo Perera, su primer cortometraje oficial, “El chico del 3ºB”, finalista en la categoría Mejor Corto Nacional del Festival Internacional de Cine de Lanzarote (2013) y ganador de la tercera edición del Festival “La Victoria en Corto” (2013). A finales del mismo año es seleccionado en el Laboratorio de Escritura Audiovisual de Canarias para la formación de directores de cortometrajes por Rolando Díaz y Andrés Koppel. En 2014 participa como actor en el largometraje de Rául Jiménez “Muchachos”, y estrena su segundo cortometraje, “Progreso al Pasado”, seleccionado para el programa de distribución “Canarias en Corto 2014-2015”.

EDGAR GARCÍA (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, SPAIN, 06/02/1979) He studied Art History and Journalism at the University of La Laguna, finishing Journalism in Italy. In 2013, he co-directs, together with TV script-writer Pablo Perera, his first official short film, "The boy of 3B", finalist in the National Best Short Film category of the International Film Festival of Lanzarote (2013) and winner of the third edition of the Festival "La Victoria en Corto"(2013). Later that year he was selected by Rolando Diaz and Andres Koppel from Canary Media Writing Laboratory for the training formation of shortfilm directors. In 2014, he takes part as an actor in the film “Muchachos” by Raul Jimenez, and presents his second short film, “Forwards to the past”, selected for the distribution programme “Canarias en corto 2014-2015”.
