Sinopsis / Synopsis

Más de 130 jóvenes directores de todo el mundo se citan en la ciudad italiana de Trento para competir en el Concurso Internacional para Directores de Orquesta Antonio Pedrotti. Durante una dura semana de pruebas tendrán que demonstrar al jurado internacional quién es el joven director con más talento de todos.

More than 130 young conductors participate in the Antonio Pedrotti International Conducting Competition, in the Italian city of Trento. During one week they will have to pass several auditions to convince the international jury that one of them is the most talented young conductor they are looking for.

ÁNGEL ESTEBAN (Madrid, 21/06/1976) Al finalizar sus estudios de cámara y realización empieza su carrera profesional en 1999 como ayudante de cámara en Canal+, formándose también en el mundo del cine y de la publicidad. En 2004 codirije su primer documental “Arte Sella, un museo all' aperto” que gana el premio Brixen Art a Mejor Documental. Desde entonces trabaja como cámara y realizador en docu-series y documentales para las principales cadenas españolas. En 2012 realiza el documental “Endometriosis, la punta del iceberg” dirigido por su pareja Elena Goatelli, con la que ha codirigido también “One minute for conductors”, World Premiere en IDFA 2013.

ELENA GOATELLI (Bolzano, ITALIA, 10/09/1975) Ha compaginado el trabajo de documentalista para programas de televisión con proyectos de documentales independientes.

ÁNGEL ESTEBAN (Madrid, SPAIN, 06/21/1976) In 1999 he finished his directing / cinematography studies and he began working as camera assistant at Canal+ Spain and also in the cinema and advertising world. In 2004, he began working as camera operator in documentary films, reportage and docu-soaps for the main Spanish TV Channels and independent production companies. In 2004 he also produced with Elena Goatelli their first short- documentary film “Arte Sella, an open space for art”; since then he combines his freelance job with the job at their own production company KOTTOMfilms. Their last works: "Endometriosis, the tip of the iceberg" and "One minute for Conductors", World Premiere at IDFA 2013.

ELENA GOATELLI (Bolzano, ITALY, 09/10/1975) After a degree in American and Latin-American literature, she has been working in the audiovisual world as documentalist and producer both in independent productions and television programs.
