Sinopsis / Synopsis

Carlos regresa a su casa después de enterrar a su mujer. Con el paso de los días descubre que ya nada va a ser lo mismo. A sus setenta y ocho años no tiene fuerzas para seguir adelante y decide abandonarse, encerrarse en su casa. Sin embargo un detalle le perturba y le hace ver que todavía merece la pena vivir aunque quizás ya sea demasiado tarde.

Carlos goes back home after burying his wife. After a few days, he realizes nothing will ever be the same. At 78 years old, he doesn´t have the strength to carry on and decides to let himself go, to shut himself in the house. However, there is something that unsettles him and makes him see that life is still worth living. It might be too late, though.

LORENZO MONTULL (Huesca, España, 11/12/1970). Director y realizador de documentales y televisión. Titulado en Técnico Superior en Imagen y Sonido especialidad Medios Audiovisuales.. Participó en varios talleres en la Escuela de Cine de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (Eictv). Comenzó su carrera en 1992 como editor y realizador de documentales de carácter etnográfico. Años más tarde pasar a formar parte del equipo de realización de “La Isla de los famosos” y “Aventura en Africa”. Actualmente, trabaja como realizador en Aragón Televisión. Destacan entre sus cortos “Pedro Antonio” y “Castillos en el Aire” y “40 días de niebla” ambos con numerosos premios nacionales e internacionales, así como la selección entre los cinco mejores representantes del panorama de la videocreación en España por el programa “Metrópolis” de TVE.

 LORENZO MONTULL (Huesca, Spain, 12/11/1970).Director and producer of documentaries and television. He ows a degree in Audiovisual Communication and majors in Audiovisual Media. He has participated in several workshops on documentary aesthetic production at the Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV). He began his career in 1992 as an editor and documentary filmmaker creating mostly ethnographic documentaries in Pyrene. Years later he becomes part of the production team of “The Island of the Famous" and "Adventure in Africa" (Survivors), both produced by Globomedia. He is currently a director in Aragón Televisión. One of his most remarkable shorts is "Pedro Antonio”,”Castle in the Air” and “40 days of fog” with which he won numerous national and international awards. Besides, he was selected among the five best representatives of video creations in Spain by the TV show "Metropolis" in TVE (Spanish TV Channel).
