La joven artista Lærke vive en un refugio donde le esta costando terminar su nueva obra maestra para su próxima exposición. Pero aun con todo, Lærke esta luchando una batalla mucho más compleja. Una batalla de dejar ir y encontrase a ella misma.

The young artist Lærke lives in a refuge, where she is struggling to finish a new master piece for her upcoming exhibition. But within Lærke another and far more complex battle is taking place. A battle of letting go and finding herself.

Sofie nació y se crió en Skagen, donde tiene lugar el cortometraje 'Stains'. Se mudó a Aarhus para estudiar en la escuela de cine Super8 y en la Universidad de Aarhus, donde obtuvo una maestría en Dramaturgia. Sofie escribe y dirige, y cuando se expresa a través del cine, siempre deja una pequeña parte de sí misma en su trabajo. Sofie trabaja con personajes complejos y llenos de matices, lo cual es un elemento clave en sus historias. Además, tiene predilección por el drama interno y personal.

Sofie (1991) was born and raised in Skagen, where the short film ‘Stains’ takes place. She moved to Aarhus to study at filmschool, Super8, and at Aarhus University, from where she has a masters degree in Dramaturgy. Sofie both writes and directs, and when she expresses herself through the medium of film, she always leaves behind a little piece of herself in her work. Sofie works with complex and nuanced characters, which is a key element in her stories. In addition, she has a penchant for internal and personal drama.
